The Examen Civique 2026 - Prépa mobile application (the “App”) is published under the Learnify brand by LEARNIFY YAZILIM VE BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ LTD ŞTİ, a company registered in the Republic of Türkiye (“Learnify”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the App, why, and what choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not require an account or sign-in, and we do not ask for your name, address or phone number.

Information you provide:

• Your email address and message, only if you contact us for support or send feedback

Information collected automatically:

• Device type, operating system and version, app version, language and approximate country or region (derived from your IP address, which is not stored by us)
• App usage data (screens viewed, features used, study events) linked to a random app-instance identifier
• On Android, the device advertising identifier, which you can reset or delete in your device settings
• Purchase and subscription status (for example, which plan is active and when it renews), linked to an anonymous purchase identifier
• If advertising is enabled in the free version: advertising identifiers and ad interaction data processed by Google AdMob, subject to your consent where required

Information that stays on your device: your answers, scores, statistics, saved and flagged questions, highlights, bookmarks, exam date and settings are stored only on your device. We do not receive them.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the App’s features and unlock premium content you have purchased (performance of a contract)
• To understand how the App is used and improve it, using aggregated analytics (legitimate interest; you can object at any time)
• To display advertisements in the free version, where enabled, and to measure them (your consent where required by law)
• To attribute app installs to marketing campaigns, where enabled (legitimate interest or consent where required)
• To respond to your support requests (legitimate interest)
• To comply with legal obligations, for example tax and accounting rules for purchases

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following service providers, which process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own policies:

• Google Firebase Analytics — usage analytics. Firebase Privacy

• Google AdMob (free version, where advertising is enabled) — serving and measuring ads, including Google’s consent form for users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. How Google uses information from apps

• Google ML Kit on-device translation — translates questions and study texts on your device. Language models are downloaded from Google the first time you choose a language; the text you translate is processed on your device and is not sent to us or to Google. ML Kit Terms
• Text-to-speech — the read-aloud feature uses your device’s built-in speech engine.

4. Data Storage, Transfers and Retention

Your study progress and settings are stored locally on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the App. Analytics and purchase data are processed by the providers listed above, which may store data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Such transfers are protected by the safeguards these providers offer, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months; purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide your purchases and to meet legal obligations; support emails are deleted when no longer needed.

5. Advertising and Tracking

Premium users never see ads. If ads are shown in the free version, users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are served, and on iOS the App asks for permission under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing the advertising identifier. You can withdraw consent or limit ad tracking at any time in the App or in your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads).

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for adults preparing for an official test. It is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Data Security

Data sent by the App is encrypted in transit. We take reasonable measures to protect your information; however, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection), you have the right to:

• Request access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold about you
• Object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interest, including analytics
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Opt out of personalized advertising
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr)

Because the App has no accounts, we may need your device’s purchase identifier or a description of your request to locate data. Send requests to the email address below; we answer within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at https://www.learnifyltd.com/french-privacy-policy.html. Changes are effective when posted.
